Bootup
This sound is heard during the bootup of the radio right before displaying the current channel.
Talk Permit Tone (Standard)
This tone is used to indicate to the user that they are clear to talk on an unencrypted channel. It can be programmed for both analog and digital modes on conventional and trunked systems. In analog mode or digital simplex the tone serves no practical use other than being a byproduct of pressing PTT but on digital repeaters or trunked systems it indicates that the radio has authenticated with the repeater / trunked system controller and you are free to talk on the system.

Alternate MDC-1200 ID Burst
This is what this radio's version of MDC-1200 sounds like when listened to in a raw transmission. The ID burst is exactly the same but encoded by the radio's Power Amplifier slightly different which causes it to sound different. Some older Motorola radios have MDC that sounds like this. MDC-1200 sends a 4 digit ID number over the air at the start, end, or both the start and end of a transmission. This specific ID burst contains the ID "4983"
Quick-Call 2
This is an example of what a Quick-Call 2 broadcast can sound like. Quick-Call 2 uses 2 different tones as a paging system typically in public safety radio systems. This specific audio has the tones 389.0 Hz and 410.0 Hz.
DTMF
This is an example of what a DTMF radio ID can sound like. DTMF is the same tone technology used on telephones to dial phone numbers. This specific audio has the numbers "0612".
